The US Department of State invites applications from natives of eligible countries (Nigeria included) to apply for the 2014 Diversity Immigrant Visa Program (DV-2014).
The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting simple, but strict, eligibility requirements. Based on the allocations of available visas in each region and country, the computer will randomly select individuals from among qualified entries. Fifty Thousand (50,000) people will be selected in the DV-2014 program.
Our State Department Web site for the 2014 Diversity Visa program (DV-2014) is now open. The entry submission period for DV-2014 is from 12:00PM EDT (GMT -4) on October 2, 2012 to 12:00PM EDT (GMT -4) on November 3, 2012. The entry form will only be available for submission during this period and this period only. Entries will NOT be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.

The entry form is prepared in two parts, one for the primary Entrant and one for derivatives (if any). Each part must be completed correctly and completely before going to the next part.
